The intellectual property rights in this Website or App, including all of
its information content, databases, compilations, designs, text, graphics,
photos, videos, music, sound, and their selection and arrangement, and all software
(including applets and scripts and underlying source code), vest solely in
HiLife or our licensors. All rights are reserved exclusively to HiLife and our
licensors. You acknowledge and agree that you have no right, title or interest
in any such intellectual property.
3.2.
All rights (including goodwill) in the HiLife name and trade mark are
owned by HiLife or our licensors. Any other product, service or company names
and trademarks which may appear on this Website or App are the names and
trademarks of their respective owners.
3.3.
This Website or App is provided for your non-commercial, personal use
only and must not be used for business or commercial purposes. You may not
reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any part
of this Website or App without HiLife’s permission.
3.4.
HiLife grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferrable, revocable
licence to download and use the App on a computing device that you own or
control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.
3.5.
You may retrieve and display the content of this Website or App on a computer
screen, store such content in electronic form or print one copy of such content,
solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all
and any copyright and proprietary notices.
4.1.
If you provide HiLife with any content or material (including designs,
text, graphics, photos, videos, music and sound recordings) using this Website
or App or by any other means (e.g. by email), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free,
perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable and transferable right and licence to
use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publish and distribute world-wide any such
content or material by any means and in any media now known or to be developed
in the future. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, you agree
not to assert any moral rights or other intellectual property rights in respect
of any use of such content or material by HiLife or third parties authorised by
HiLife.

HiLife takes no
responsibility and assumes no liability for any content or material provided by
users of this Website or App. We are not obliged to monitor and review any such
content or material. However, we reserve the right to censor, edit, remove or
prohibit the transmission or receipt of any such content or material if we deem
it inappropriate or in violation of these Terms of Use. During monitoring, the content
or material may be examined, recorded or copied, and your use of this Website
or App constitutes your consent to such monitoring, copying and review.
5.1.
HiLife welcomes any comments and feedback from you. However, all ideas,
suggestions, proposals, comments or feedback (“Idea”) disclosed or
offered by any means to HiLife by you will not be treated by HiLife as
confidential or proprietary to you or any third party. HiLife shall have no
obligation in relation to your Idea, including any obligation to consider your
Idea, to keep it confidential, to return any materials submitted or to acknowledge
receipt of your Idea. You agree that HiLife shall be entitled to use and
disclose the Idea for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, and in
any manner as HiLife shall deem fit, without giving any acknowledgement,
compensation or reference to you or any third party.

This Website or App may contain links to websites which are not operated or managed by HiLife
(“Other Sites”). All Other Sites are provided only for your information
and convenience and not as an endorsement of any third party products or
services. HiLife has no control over and does
not accept or assume any responsibility for the Other Sites or for any third
party products or services. Your use of any Other Sites or any third party products
or services is entirely at your own risk.

sites may link or refer to this Website or App. Such links do not necessarily
mean that we are associated or affiliated with or approve of the third party or
its goods and services. Your reliance on any third party statements of
association or affiliation with us or our approval is at your own risk.

This Website or App contains information about Merchants (defined in
Section 8.1), other users of this Website or App and their respective
products and services. All such information is provided only for your
information and convenience and not as an endorsement of any Merchant or
other user of this Website or App or their respective products or services. You are solely responsible for verifying all
information directly with the applicable Merchant or user of this Website or
App before relying on such information.
7.2.
Your purchase, order, booking and/or use of any product or service of a
Merchant or other user of this Website or App may be subject to specific terms
and conditions imposed by the Merchant or other user of this Website of App,
including without limitation terms and conditions relating to tax, shipping,
delivery, special offers, discounts, refunds, reservations, cancellations and
changes. You are solely responsible for verifying these specific terms and
conditions directly with the Merchant or other user of this Website or App, before
you make a purchase, order, booking or payment for any products or services.
7.3.
Prior
to entering into any transaction with a third party, it is your responsibility
to check the background of that party, including their place of origin, their
address, mode of payment, and any other matters that are important to you.
8.
Your Dealings with Merchants
and other Users
8.2.
If you have a dispute with any
Merchant or any user of this Website or App, you agree that you shall have no
recourse against HiLife (or any of our officers, directors, agents,
subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) in respect of such dispute and you
hereby release HiLife from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and
consequential) arising out of or in connection with such disputes.
8.3.
HiLife is not responsible and assumes
no liability whatsoever, and you shall not hold HiLife responsible or liable
for the acts or omissions of any Merchant or user of this Website or App or any
dealings whatsoever between you and a Merchant or other user of this Website or
App, whether or not such dealings have been facilitated by HiLife or conducting
on or through this Website or App.
9.1.
To use certain services available on this Website or App, you will be
required to register for a user account (“User Account”).
9.2.
Upon successful registration, you will be assigned a password and user ID
to access and use the User Account (“passcodes”). You are solely
responsible for the proper use and confidentiality of your passcodes. You
shall ensure that you have at all times full control of and over the use of all
such passcode. HiLife shall be entitled to treat all communications,
transactions and other activities occurring under or referable to any such
passcodes as having been carried out by you or on your behalf and with your
knowledge and authority. HiLife shall not be liable for any losses, damage,
costs, fees or expenses arising out of or in connection with any communication,
transaction or activity carried out under or referable to any passcodes
assigned to you.
9.3.
All User Accounts are non-transferable. You shall not allow any third
party to use the User Account assigned to you without HiLife's prior written
approval.
9.4.
You may only maintain one User Account at any one time. Any additional
User Accounts shall be subject to HiLife’s prior written approval.
9.5.
In applying for registration of a User Account, you represent and warrant
to HiLife that (a) all registration information you provide is true, accurate,
current, and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief and that you
will promptly inform us of any changes to such information by updating your
User Account profile; (b) you are at least 21 years of age and capable of
forming legally binding contracts; and (c) you are and will be legally,
financially and morally responsible for all activities that occur under your User
Account. You agree to provide HiLife with such proof of identity and other
documentary evidence as we may reasonably request or require in order to verify
our records of your personal particulars.
9.6.
All User Accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address
that you access regularly, so that, among other things, HiLife may communicate
with you by email in respect of the management and administration of your User
Account. Any User Accounts which have been registered with someone else’s email
address or with temporary email addresses may be closed by HiLife without prior
notice. HiLife may require users to re-validate their User Accounts from time
to time in order to ensure that the User Accounts are still active and
registered with a valid email address.
9.7.
HiLife reserves the right to close any User Account if we believe that the user
of the User Account is using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order
to attempt to hide the use of multiple registration accounts, or if a non-Singapore
user pretends to be a Singapore user, or disrupts the smooth operation of this Website
or App in any way or disrupts or annoys other users of this Website or App.
10.1.
You may use this Website or App to
purchase vouchers (each a “Voucher”) for products and/or services
advertised on this Website or App (each a “Deal”) only if you are the
registered holder of a User Account.
10.2.
Once you have purchased a Voucher, you may only redeem the Voucher for
the Deal described in the Voucher by presenting it to the Merchant named in the
Voucher during the redemption period identified in the Voucher (the “Redemption
Period”), subject always to these Terms of Use and any terms and conditions
stated on the Voucher. Any attempted redemption of a Voucher which is not
consistent with this clause shall be void.
10.3.
The supply of any Deal by a Merchant may be
subject to pre-requisites, including without limitation a minimum number of participants or specific weather
conditions. For example, a swimming, tennis or other class may require a
minimum number of students
in attendance or favourable weather conditions. Please review the details of
the Deal set out in this Website or App and consult the Merchant in order to
ascertain the pre-requisites of the Deal. If you purchase a Voucher for a Deal
which is subject to any such pre-requisites, you acknowledge and agree that, if
the pre-requisites are not fulfilled for any reason, the Deal may lapse and as a
consequence (a) you will not be able to redeem the Voucher even if you were to
present the Voucher to the Merchant within the Redemption Period; (b) your
payment for the Voucher will not be refunded by HiLife; and (c) any extension
of the Redemption Period or provision of substitute products or services shall
be at the Merchant’s sole discretion.
10.4.
Each Voucher expires on the date specified on the Voucher.
10.5.
No refunds shall be available for any
Vouchers, except at HiLife’s sole discretion.
10.6.
Neither HiLife nor any Merchant shall be responsible for lost or stolen
Vouchers or Voucher reference numbers.
10.7.
All prices of Vouchers are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
10.8.
You
acknowledge and agree that it is the Merchant and not HiLife that is solely
responsible for redeeming the Voucher and supplying the Deal. Unless otherwise
agreed by the Merchant in its sole discretion, the following terms shall apply
to the redemption of Vouchers:
(a)
The reproduction, resale or trade of Vouchers is strictly prohibited. You acknowledge and agree that Vouchers are not
transferable, except at the Merchant’s sole discretion. You agree to provide
the Merchant with such proof of identity and purchase of the Voucher and such
other co-operation as the Merchant may require in order process your request
for Voucher redemption.
(b)
If the Voucher is redeemed for less than its face value, there is no
entitlement to a credit, cash or new Voucher equal to the difference between
the face value and the amount redeemed.
(c)
Vouchers are redeemable in their entirety only and may not be redeemed
incrementally.
(d)
The Merchant’s decision on whether or not Vouchers can be combined with
any other promotions, vouchers, third party certificates or coupons, is final.
11.1.
HiLife may use third party services to verify identity, secure and
protect your credit card information and process payments made by means of this
Website or App (the “Payment Service”).
11.2.
You undertake not to use the Payment Service in an unlawful or fraudulent
manner. In particular, you shall not make any online payment using a credit
card or payment instrument other than your own or without the prior consent of
the lawful holder thereof.
11.3.
You agree to cooperate in relation to
any financial crime screening that is required and to assist us in complying
with any prevailing laws or regulations in place.
11.4.
You shall be responsible to resolve
any disputes with your credit card company on your own.
11.5.
Without prejudice to the other provisions of these Terms of Use, HiLife
shall not be responsible for any malfunction in any computer system, software
or any Internet access service provider that may affect the accuracy or
timeliness of the online transmission of payment instructions. HiLife also
shall not be responsible if any credit card or other information provided is
incorrect or if payment instructions are not given sufficiently in advance to
allow for timely payment or if payment instructions cannot be carried out for
any reason beyond our control.
11.6.
HiLife will not entertain any requests for refund of payments made,
except in cases of excess payment due to an error by the Payment Service.
HiLife will refund sums paid in excess by such means as we may deem fit but we
shall not be obliged to make any payment of interest or any compensation to you
in respect any such excess payment.
11.7.
The following terms govern the
use and redemption of hiCredit. These terms and conditions apply except where
otherwise required by law. This hiCredit can only be used for purchases of
certain services and products made available on hiLife mobile application. You
must have a hiLife mobile application account and accept the hiLife Terms of
Use and Privacy Policy to use hiCredit. You must have, or download hiLife
mobile application in order to purchase the available services and products.
hiCredit is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash,
and is void where prohibited by law.
11.8.
HiLife reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate
or modify this promotion. This hiCredit offer applies only to qualifying
services and products.
11.9.
HiLife reserves the right, at our sole discretion, without prior notice
and without liability to any person, to reject any order or purchase without
assigning any reason.
12.1.
You undertake that, when browsing, accessing or using this Website, or downloading, installing or using this App, or
communicating or transacting with HiLife, any Merchant or any other user of
this Website or App, you shall not do or attempt to do or permit any other
person to do or attempt any
of the following:
(a)
Engage in or encourage any conduct or make any statement
which is or is likely to be in contempt of court or in breach of confidence, or
in violation of any intellectual property rights, rights of personality,
publicity or privacy or any other third party rights.
(b)
Engage in or encourage any conduct or make any statement
which is or is likely to be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil
liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any
third party in any country in the world.
(c)
Engage in or encourage any conduct or make any statement
which is or is likely, in HiLife’s opinion, to restrict or inhibit any other
person from properly using or enjoying this Website or App.
(d)
Furnish false, inaccurate or misleading information, use
credit/debit card details fraudulently, enter into fraudulent interactions or
transactions with HiLife or any third party (including by entering into
interactions or transactions purportedly on behalf of a third party where you
have no authority to bind that third party or by using a false or fictitious
identity).
(e)
Incite hatred against any ethnic, religious or any other
minority or engage in or encourage any conduct or make any statement which may
be defamatory, libelous, inflammatory, sensitive as to race, religion or
gender, threatening, of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, blasphemous
or otherwise offensive to any individual or group.
(f)
Engage in or encourage any conduct or make any statement
which is not or is not likely to conform to accepted Internet practices and
practices of any connected networks.
(g)
Use this Website or App for any purpose other than which
HiLife has designed them or intended them to be used.
(h)
Interfere with the proper working of this Website or App
or any activities conducted on this Website or App.
(i)
Circumvent, manipulate, undermine or bypass any limits,
restrictions, controls, rules or requirements imposed by HiLife to regulate the
access to and use of this Website or App.
(j)
Distribute or post spam, chain letters, or pyramid
schemes.
(k)
Distribute materials (including computer viruses, logic
bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other
malicious software or harmful data) that may harm this Website or App, or the
interests or property of other users of this Website or App.
(l)
Harvest or otherwise collect information about other users
of this Website or App, including email addresses, without their consent.
(m)
Intercept any communications transmitted by way of a
telecommunications system.
(n)
Access or use this Website or App in such a way as to,
or commit any act that imposes or is likely or calculated to impose an
unreasonable or disproportionately large load on HiLife’s infrastructure.
(o)
Execute any form of network monitoring which will
intercept data not intended for you.
(p)
Copy, reproduce, modify, create
derivative works from, distribute, or publicly display any content from this
Website or App without the prior express written permission of the HiLife and applicable
third party.
12.2.
On the issue of whether or not you are in violation of
the acceptable use policy stated in Section 11.1, HiLife’s decision shall be
final, conclusive and binding on you.

FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HILIFE DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS,
CONDITIONS AND WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR
OTHERWISE, IN RELATION TO THIS WEBSITE OR APP OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OBTAINED BY THE USE OF THIS WEBSITE OR

eliminated from communications and data transmissions over the Internet. HiLife
further does not warrant that any communications
via this Website or App will be transmitted accurately, reliably, in a timely
manner or at all. Accordingly, the transmission of any communication or
data over the Internet, whether through this Website or App or otherwise, shall
be solely at your own risk.
13.3.
You are solely responsible for
obtaining at your own expense the Internet connectivity, telecommunication
links, computing hardware and software necessary for access to and use of this
Website or App. HiLife shall not be liable for any telecommunications or other
costs or expenses that you may incur to use and access this Website or App, nor
shall HiLife be responsible for your use of incompatible or unauthorized device
or software.
14.1.
To the extent permissible by law, HiLife, our licensors and our
respective holding companies, subsidiaries, subsidiaries of our respective
holding companies, affiliates, officers, directors, members, employees,
attorneys and/or agents (each a “HiLife Party” and collectively the “HiLife
Parties”) shall not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect,
incidental or consequential losses or damage whatsoever, including without
limitation loss of revenue, loss of actual or anticipated profits,
loss of contracts, loss of the use of money, loss of anticipated savings, loss
of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation or loss
of, damage to or corruption of data, even if any of the HiLife Parties has been advised of the possibility
of such loss or damage.
14.2.
Save as provided in Clause 16.3, the entire liability of the HiLife Parties to you,
whether in contract, tort, including negligence, or otherwise, shall in no
circumstances exceed, in aggregate, a sum equal to the greater of: (a) S$50; or
(b) 110% of any aggregate amount paid by you to HiLife in the 12 months
preceding the date on which the cause of action arose.
15.1.
You shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless the HiLife Parties from and
against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses
(including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or in connection with: (a)
your misuse of this Website or App, (b) your misuse of a Voucher, (c) your
dealings with any Merchant and/or (d) your violation or breach of any of these
Terms of Use or the applicable law.
16.
Modifications, Suspension
or Termination
16.1.
HiLife reserves the right to,
at any time, without prior notice or compensation (a) modify any part of this
Website or App, including without limitation by adding, removing or changing any
of its contents or functionalities or any information regarding a Merchant or
its products or services, or (b) suspend, withdraw, restrict or terminate access
to this Website or App.
16.2.
HiLife reserves the right to,
at any time, without prior notice or compensation to suspend, revoke or
restrict your access to and use of this Website or App or any User Account we believe is connected to you, or remove
or modify any content or material posted or otherwise made available by you or
through a User Account we believe is
connected to you if: (a) you have breached or we suspect that you may or will breach any of these Terms of Use, (b) your
User Account is or has been inactive for a prolonged period of time; or (c) we
believe there are security reasons for doing so.
16.3.
HiLife reserves the right to block access to and/or to edit or remove any
content or material which we believe is posted or made available in violation
of these Terms of Use.
16.4.
HiLife’s exercise of any rights under
these Terms of Use is without prejudice to any other rights or remedies which
we have hereunder or under any applicable law.
17.1.
HiLife handles your
personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using this Website or App, you consent to such handling of
your personal data.
18.1.
HiLife shall not be liable for any
failure to perform any obligations under these Terms of Use if such failure
results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation
acts of God, civil or military authority, civil disturbance, wars, strikes,
lightning, fire, flood, extremely severe weather, strike, lock-out, labour
dispute, riot, failure of any telecommunications or computer system,
requirement of any applicable law, accident (or by any damage caused by any of
such events).
19.1.
Any notice to be given under these
Terms of Use to HiLife shall be in writing and sent by hand or pre-paid registered
mail to HiLife Limited, 60 Paya Lebar Road, #09-17 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore
409051 and marked “Attention: Legal Department”, unless otherwise notified by
HiLife.
19.2.
Any notice to be given under these
Terms of Use to you shall be in writing and sent by hand, pre-paid registered
mail or by email to the address or email address you provide when you register for
a User Account, update your User Account profile or otherwise communicate with
us.
19.3.
Notices sent as described in above
shall be deemed to have been received: (a) in the case hand delivery, on the
day of delivery; (b) in the case of pre-paid registered mail, three (3) working
days from the date of posting and (c) in the case of email, within 24 hours
after sending, unless the sending party receives a notice that the email
address is invalid.
20.
Governing Law and
Dispute Resolution
20.1.
These Terms of Use shall be governed
by and construed in accordance with Singapore law and you hereby submit to the
non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
20.2.
The application of 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the
International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
21.
Amendment of these
Terms of Use
21.1.
HiLife may amend these Terms of Use at
any time by posting the amended terms on this Website or App, and all amended
terms shall be effective immediately after they are posted.
21.2.
No amendment of these Terms
of Use by you shall be binding on HiLife unless it was made in writing and
signed by you and HiLife.
22.1.
These Terms of Use apply equally to
and are for the benefit of the HiLife Parties
and each HiLife Party shall have the right to assert and enforce the provisions
of these Terms of Use directly or on its own behalf. No
other third party shall have any right to enforce any of these provisions under
the Contracts (Right of Third Party) Act (Cap.53B) or any other theory of law.
23.1.
These Terms of Use
constitute the entire agreement between you and HiLife and supersedes and
excludes any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between the parties,
whether oral or in writing, on this subject matter. Except
as expressly stated in these Terms of Use, all warranties, conditions and other
terms, whether express or implied, by statute, common law or otherwise are
hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. These Terms of Use
shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of you and HiLife and our
respective successors and permitted assigns. You shall
not assign your rights or delegate or transfer your obligations and duties
under these Terms of Use to any third party without HiLife’s prior written

agency between you and HiLife. You do not have authority to contract on behalf

cumulative and not exclusive of any other right or remedy provided by law or

3. What personal data
we collect
Personal data
means any data about an individual who can be identified from that data.
It includes without limitation an individual’s name, identity card, passport or
other identification number, telephone numbers, address and email address.
We collect personal data that is
volunteered by you when you use this Website or App, such as when you apply for
a User Account or respond to specific information requests explicitly presented
to you by HiLife. Depending on what you
use this Website or App for, HiLife may require additional information, such as
billing information, including details
of your chosen payment mechanism, such as credit card details).
HiLife automatically receives and
records some information from your browser or mobile phone when you visit or
use this Website or App, such as your IP (Internet Protocol) address, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the
site through the use of log files provided by our third-party tracking-utility
partners. This information helps us analyze and understand how the site works
for our customers. We may also
collect your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to
administer this Website or App. An IP address is a number that is assigned to
your computer when you use the Internet. Your IP address is also used to help
identify you during a particular session and to gather broad demographic data.
If you connect to or register for a User
Account for this Website or App by using an external third-party application,
such as Facebook, or an app developed using the HiLife API, HiLife may receive
some data from those connected third-party applications. Connecting your HiLife
account to third-party applications or services is optional. You can revoke
your permission to connect your account to the external app by changing your
HiLife account settings.

and/or sponsors;

5. Choice &
control over your personal data
HiLife
provides you with the means to access, update, edit or delete certain personal
data related to your User Account. You can change or delete such data as
desired in your User Account settings.
You may also request for access to and/or
correction of your personal data by contacting us at any time.
HiLife reserves the right to impose a fee
for such access of your personal data in such amounts as permitted by Applicable
Law.
In respect of your right to access and/or
correct your personal data, HiLife has the right to refuse your requests to
access and/or make any correction to your personal data if permitted or
required to under the Applicable Law.
If you have optionally connected your
account to an external, third-party application, such as Facebook, or an app
developed using the HiLife API, you can remove permission for such connection by
changing your account settings. If you do not wish for your personal data to be
collected via cookies on our websites, you may deactivate cookies by adjusting
your internet browser settings to disable, block or deactivate cookies, by
deleting your browsing history and clearing the cache from your internet
browser.
You may also request HiLife to limit the
purposes of use of your personal data and/or stop using your personal data for
any purpose. However, please recognize that if you do not
permit us to use the personal data we require, it may not be possible for us to
work with you or provide you with the products, services or information that you
want.
If you no longer wish to use HiLife’s
services or receive service-related messages, then you may close your User Account. If you want
to close your User Account, please contact us. While we are ready to assist you
in closing your User Account and removing you active profile, we may not always
be able to delete records of past interactions and transactions. For example,
we are required to retain records relating to previous bookings and purchases for
financial reporting and other compliance reasons.
On occasion, HiLife will send you messages.
The default required form of communication is email or mobile notifications via
the App. If you sign up for SMS notifications, HiLife may also contact you by
text message when applicable.
Some messages from HiLife are
service-related and required for holders of User Accounts. Examples of
service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a
welcome/confirmation email when you register your User Account, notification of
offers or sales, or correspondence with HiLife’s support team. These messages
are not promotional in nature as they are part of the services provided to User
Account holders. You may not opt-out of receiving such service-related messages
from HiLife, unless you close your User Account.
As a User Account holder, HiLife may also
send you messages related to certain features on the Website, App or your
activity. HiLife may also send you news or updates about changes to the Website,
App or our services. By default, you will receive these messages via email, but
you may choose to opt-out of getting certain emails under your User Account
settings.
HiLife offers optional email newsletters.
You must opt-in or subscribe to begin receiving newsletters. If you are a User
Account holder, you may subscribe or unsubscribe from optional newsletters
under your User Account settings or by following the instructions contained in
the newsletter emails. If you do not hold a User Account, you may subscribe by
providing an email address, which will only be used by HiLife for these
newsletters, and you may unsubscribe from newsletters by following the
instructions contained in the newsletter emails.
User Account holders may share with their
friends’ links to the Website or App using a convenient “Email” feature on
certain pages. If you choose to use this share by email or text feature, HiLife
will ask for the information needed to send the message, such as your friend’ s
email address or mobile phone number. HiLife will then automatically send your
friend an email message, inviting your friend to visit the site. We won’t use
your friend’s email address or mobile phone number for any other purpose. Your
friend may opt-out of receiving future similar sharing emails from HiLife by
following the instructions in the email.
A contact-importer feature, if available,
helps User Account holders locate and connect with their friends and contacts
who may also hold User Accounts with HiLife. If someone in your contact list is
not already a User Account holder, you may invite them to register for a User
Account. You may preview the invitation before HiLife generates and sends it.
Recipients of invitations may opt out of receiving future invitations by
following instructions in the invitation message.
If you provide HiLife with the personal
data of a friend, contact or any other individual, you must ensure, and HiLife
will assume that you have taken all necessary steps to ensure, that you have
informed him/her of the purpose for which you are disclosing his/her personal
data to HiLife and that he/she has consented to such disclosure and to receive
communications from HiLife.
Occasionally, we ask our customers to complete market
research surveys. Survey results are aggregated and shared with our advertisers,
sponsors and affiliates in a manner that does not disclose personal data.
8. Sharing &
disclosure of personal data
A variety of third party merchants may offer
promotions or sell products or services to you through this Website or App.
HiLife may work with such merchants to offer you the chance of purchase
vouchers for their products and services on this Website or App. Due to the
nature of our business model, if you purchase a voucher or otherwise enter into
a transaction with the merchant through this Website or App, we may share
information that is related to such transaction with the merchant in order for
it to provide you with the products or services that you have requested for, or
in order to achieve any of the other purposes set out in this Policy. HiLife
may also share aggregated demographic information with such merchants, who are
our business partners.
HiLife may release your personal data to a
third-party in order comply with a subpoena or other similar legal procedure,
or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply
with the Applicable Law; prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or
investigate or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or
violations of HiLife’s Terms of Use. We may disclose personal data to third
parties, as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate, in
connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement,
piracy, or other unlawful activity. In such events, HiLife may disclose name,
address, country, phone number, email address and company name.
HiLife employs agents, subcontractors,
service providers to perform tasks on our behalf, and we need to share your
personal data with them to provide products and services to you or to otherwise
achieve any of the other purposes set out in this Policy. Examples include but
are not limited to fulfilling orders, processing payments, handling billing
disputes and collections, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and
providing customer service. We may therefore share your personal data with such
third parties. However, it is our policy not to sell or pass any personal data
to any organizations outside HiLife for their marketing purposes
without your consent.
HiLife may partner with third-party

When you a load a page on HiLife that has a
social plug-in from a third-party site or service, such as a Like or Send
button, you are also loading content from that third-party site. That site may
request cookies directly from your browser. These interactions are subject to
the privacy policy of the third-party site.

your information to others on the Website or App or throughout the Internet,
different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of the information you
provide to them. HiLife does not control the privacy policies of third parties,
and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where
applicable. HiLife is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of
other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the HiLife site.
We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal data to

Please note that as part of any personal
data sharing which we list above, your personal data may be transferred to,
stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction outside Singapore in order to achieve any of the purposes set out in this Policy. The terms
of this Policy will continue to apply the personal data so transferred. You
consent to the transfer of your personal data outside Singapore on these terms.

tracking technologies
HiLife uses a variety of technologies to
help us better understand how people use our site and services.
A cookie is a small data file sent from a
web site to your browser that is stored on your computer’s hard drive. HiLife
uses cookies for a number of purposes, including to access your information
when you sign in; keep track of preferences you specify; display the most
appropriate content based on your interests and activity on HiLife; estimate
and report HiLife’s total audience size and traffic; conduct research to
improve our content and services.
You can configure your browser’s settings
to reflect your preference to accept or reject cookies. If you reject all
cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of HiLife’s services.
We employ a software technology that to
help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective.
The technologies are tiny graphics with a unique identifier similar in function
to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. In
contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear
gifs are embedded invisibly on web pages and are about the size of the period
at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear
gifs to your personal data.
We use Flash cookies (a.k.a local shared
objects or LSOs) to store some of your viewing preferences on our site. Flash
cookies are used to collect and store information, but differ from browser
cookies in the amount, type and manner in which data is stored. HiLife does not

not allow access to personal data from HiLife. HiLife does not have access or

of your User Account, notifying you of your User Account details;

by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and computer
secure by signing out after using our services. HiLife encrypts sensitive
information (such as credit card number) using secure socket layer technology
(SSL). HiLife follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the
personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and once HiLife
receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of
electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use
commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot
guarantee its absolute security. You undertake to treat your username, password and
order details confidentially and not make it available to unauthorized third
parties. We cannot assume any liability for misuse of your HiLife username,
password or order details, except as stated in the Terms of Use.
HiLife will retain your information for
as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you
no longer want HiLife to use your information to provide you services, you may
close your account. HiLife will retain and use your information as necessary to
comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our
agreements.

No Spam, Spyware, or Virus
Spam, spyware
or virus is not allowed on the Website or App. Please set and maintain your
communication preferences so that we send communications to you as you prefer.
You are not licensed or otherwise allowed to add other users to your mailing list
(email or physical mail) without their express consent. You should not send any
messages which contain spam, spyware or virus via the Website or App. If you
would like to report any suspicious message, please contact us.

Retention of personal data
We will
only keep your personal data for as long as we are either required to by law or
as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.
You acknowledge and agree that HiLife has
the right to disclose your personal data to any legal, regulatory,
governmental, tax, law enforcement or other authorities, if HiLife has
reasonable grounds to believe that disclosure of your personal data is
necessary for the purpose of meeting any obligations, requirements or
arrangements, whether voluntary or mandatory, or for the purpose of cooperating
with an order, an investigation and/or a request of any nature by such parties.
To the extent permissible by the Applicable Law, you agree not to take any
action and/or waive your rights to take any action against HiLife for the
